Cavin McLay serves as Chief Information Officer of TSH Consulting, working alongside Chief Technology Officer Alex Holsclaw to develop the technology and client-facing systems that support the firm’s consulting work. His focus is on building practical tools that help clients organize information, coordinate their work, and access the support they need. Together, they work to make technology a useful part of how TSH serves students, organizations, and institutional partners.
Cavin brings an analytical perspective to that work through his experience in private equity financial planning and analysis and equity research. His background includes analyst roles with {SolutionSet} and the Culverhouse Investment Management Group. At TSH, he applies that perspective to understanding client needs and helping translate them into clear, usable systems, with an emphasis on how technology fits into an organization’s day-to-day operations.
An honors student at The University of Alabama, Cavin studies finance with a minor in value investing. His leadership experience includes service as Theta Chi chapter president and president of Greek Gives. That experience provides a firsthand perspective on the coordination and information needs of student organizations, informing his work with TSH’s technology team to build systems around the people who use them.
